So basically, this setup is going to allow you to attach these mounting anchors to the frame of your truck. It's going to install right at the front of your truck bed and attaching to the frame of the truck is going to make your whole setup less top heavy, rather than attaching it to the bed. So it's going to be a lot more secure and stable.One thing I really like about these arms is that when you're not using them, you can simply remove this outer portion here. So this inner bracket is what's going to be permanently attached to your truck's frame, but with the arm removed, you're really not going to be able to see this at all. So it's not going to take away from the look of your truck.These brackets are a custom fit. more
